Bollington Bear - Heart Edition - 2023 Pre Order

A gorgeous Bollington Bear who promises to pass on lots of love with his beautiful Bright Red heart.

He is made from smooth white earthenware clay, with the heart, nose and eyes decorated in underglaze. He is low-fired to 1061℃ and then dipped in a lovely shiny clear glaze and re-fired at 999℃.  Each bear is handmade, cleaned up, painted and fired twice, with a dip in glaze inbetween.  I design and create each bear in my Bollington studio at Adelphi Mill.

There's limited slots available for pre-ordering the heart bear.  You will receive one similar to the one shown in the photos within 2-3 weeks

All items are made entirely by hand with some hand building and some slip casting, there will almost always be some kind of imperfection, so inconsistency is to be expected but it is also what makes each bear a 'one of a kind'.
